Dr. Alejandro Lopez is a very experienced and fully qualified Bariatric Surgeon and the Medical Director of ALO Bariatrics –– our carefully chosen Bariatric connection in Mexico.
Dr. Lopez has performed over 6,000 Bariatric procedures since 2005, with expertise in the Gastric Bypass, Gastric Sleeve, Mini Gastric Bypass and Revision Surgery. Dr Lopez performs his bariatric procedures laparoscopically, which is a minimally invasive safe surgical technique resulting in small scars and fast recoveries.
Dr. Lopez received his Medical Degree from the University of Guadalajara. His residency in general surgery was completed at Western National Medical Centre, and he completed his fellowship training in the United States at Cook County Hospital in Chicago IL. where he received advanced fellowship training in weight loss surgery.

Dr. Salvador Ramirez | Surgeon
Dr. Salvador Ramirez is a Board Certified Surgeon with 15 years of experience.
As a very skilled Bariatric Surgeon at ALO Bariatrics, Dr. Ramirez received his medical training at the University of San Luis Potosi faculty of Medicine and is certified by the Mexican College of Surgery for Obesity and Metabolic Diseases (CMCOEM) and the Mexican Council of General Surgery (CMCG).
Dr. Ramirez has training in Advanced trauma life support by the American College of Surgeons and is a former full-time faculty professor of human anatomy at the University of Guadalajara. He is also a tenured member of the Medical Association of Jalisco Medical College and instructed classes in bioethics, surgery, and surgical techniques.
Dr. Ramirez has been recognized numerous times by the Secretary of Education for his support and contributions in the field of general surgery. He has performed over 2,000 Bariatric procedures.
